Maldives. Today I received this beautiful card. I like this card sooo much! I wish I could swim in this beach. Maldives called the bird on the card "Maakana".

USA. Today I received this beautiful card of Florida. She wrote: This is the bridge I see when I walk to my neighborhood park. It is very pretty at night with the lights shining.

Austria. She wrote: I'm happy to show you a bit of Austria's landscape. This place is close to Salzburg and it's beautiful all years round. In summer people like to go hiking there and in winter you can go skiing. Myself I grow up not far from there and I learnt how to ski exactly there. When I was 19 I moved to Vienna where I'm now living with my 3 sons.

Singapore. She wrote: ni hao ma means how are you. I'm Betrice, Malaysia Chinese, from Penang. Now I work here around 1 year. Singapore is a busy life. Every day I need to take bus and mrt to go to work. Serously really tired coz I stay far from work. Weather at here is hot, recently less rain, 32-36 degrees. I wish weather can change cold haha... impossible. Next month is Singapore independence day marks 50th anniversary. I have heard that there are beautiful fireworks on that day. So bad I not around here, coz I will go back to my hometown Penang in Malaysia.

Niger. I love this card + cover so much. This picture shows a woman of tradition. She is making this goulass very wonderful. We call it goulass in djenna, our mother tongue. It means in English the bucket or bottle in which we put the water. This goulass is made in the basis of sand. Concerning me, I am studying the law in the 2nd.

Holland. This card shows Maarheeze. I spent my holidays there with 3 friends when I was 14 years old. It was my first holiday without parents. We stayed there for a week. I remember that we had to walk 2 hours to get some beer. (the beer was for our parents)We walked through a park and the woods. The environment was nice there.

St. Helena. 1/2 year ago I saw a documentary of St. Helena by Floortje Dessing. She has visited this British island in the middle of the Atlantic ocean. It's one of the most isolated area's of the world.

Somalia. This is a blank card. Sent from Panama by my dear friend Blanca. She added a nice piece of paper in the envelope with text about herself. That makes postcrossing so special.I love this card. Somalia is a special country to have in my collection.

Yesterday I received this beautiful card of the Fiji islands. I wish I was here. It's my first card of Fiji. I am so happy.

Syria.View of Damascus hotel. Today I am very happy. I was visiting my friend and when I came back home I opened my mailbox and found this amazing postcard. I never thought that I would receive this card. I had to wait for so long (4 months). The sender has sent a card twice to me. The first card got lost. He stayed in Syria to help rebuilding of Syria.

Kenya. My first card of Kenya. I am so happy! I like this card so much because I have read a book about the Masai. The titel of the book is, the white Masai. There is also a film of the white Masai but I like the book more. A girl, Carola, whose vacation in Kenya takes an interesting turn when she becomes infatuated with a Masai. Carola decides to leave her boyfriend to stay with her lover. That book is so exciting!

Romania. She wrote: I currently live in Cluj-Napoca but my home town is Baja-Mare the capital of Maramures. I don't know if you heart about Merry Cenuetery, a special kind of graveyard, with wooden crosses painted in vivid colors. The idea was to make death truth that could be faced more easily. I can say that Maramures is a beautiful and unique place.
