Germany. She wrote: Thanks for your card. Your cat is really beautiful. On this card you have a view across the old part of my home town. In the centre is our main church. It's called Skt. Andreas Kirche. It's several 100 years old and already Martin Luther was preaching here. In it's beginning it was a catholic church and after the reformation it became a protestant one. The school where I am working is very close to this church. Hope we can swap again one day.

Alaska. She wrote: Will be snowing here really soon. The summer was cut short by a lot of rain. Seems like it's been raining since july. We can see Denali from the river just about a 5 min. walk from our house. The pink flowers in the picture are fireweed and they are gorgeous in person very vibrant color. I've lived in Alaska for 4 years now and I love it. I will never leave! We live in a small town called Tarkeetna. I have 3 girls who all go to the elementary school. They ride their bikes to school most days. It is very close to home too.They are very excited for winter, they love to ski and play hocky and just play in the snow. I don't mind the snow, but I am terrible at skiing. I'd rather read a book from inside looking at the fire. I've never been to the Netherlands. I hope to learn more about you and your beautiful country.

Russia. An active vulcano in the eastern part of Russia.

Philippines. This card shows at Calmung beach on Matinloc island, Palawan. It is recommended to visit El Nido that is an island paradise. Nice places to visit:baker's hill, crocodile farm and the underground river. In the underground river are the limestone formations wonderful. The underground river is one of the UNESCO heritage sites of the Philippines.

Lapland. She wrote: It's been years ago when I visited Lapland. My brother lives in Rovaniemi but people says that Lapland begins after Rovaniemi. I visited zoo in Ronua an ofcourse Santa Claus village in Rovaniemi. We had here amazing vet called Markus kiili, and he moved few years ago to Lapland and he has taken amazing pictures of Northern lights an they are sold also as postcards.
